We first engaged Buildscene to do a renovation for us a number of years ago. Whilst we knew they were not the cheapest on offer, a friend had told us they were reliable. Tim was approachable, knowledgeable, and managed the build with ease. The reno revealed some issues with our house, and we were grateful for the advice provided on how to implement cost effective solutions. We had always suffered from damp downstairs and are pleased that it is no longer a problem. Tim and his workers were always cheerful, friendly and polite; and mindful of clearing up the mess at the end of the day. Most importantly, the work was completed to a very high standard, with a number of complex design features, to budget and on time. 6 months ago when our deck needed replacing, we immediately asked Tim for a quote because we knew he was reliable, with a high standard of work, and because we knew he would start and complete the work as soon as possible. In 2012 we embarked on a major renovation of our family home.  Being familiar with their style and quality we engaged the services of Buildscene for the project.  We couldn’t be happier with the finished product but it was the way in which the work was completed that was most impressive.  I have nothing but praise for all the “Buildscene boys”, they treated me with respect and I always felt comfortable with them being in the house around me and my two young daughters (which unfortunately cannot be said for many trades people).  Further, they ensured that I was able to keep my home manufacturing business going throughout the renovation whilst still completing the job without delays.  I wholeheartedly recommend Buildscene and would be happy to discuss my experience with them with anyone considering a renovation or new build.

Tim and his boys did a great job on transforming my house, bringing it into the 21^st century from a tired 1980’s wreck.  And what’s more, they were cheerful, obliging and professional at all times. The finished job is first class.  Buildscene far exceeded my expectations.
